Introducing Website Care: hosting and care, together in one plan

We’re excited to share a simpler way to work with us. Our separate hosting plans and care packages are now one all-in-one service: Website Care.

Why we’ve made the change

Until now we offered hosting and care as two separate things. It wasn’t always clear what each one covered, where they overlapped, or which was the right fit for your business.

Most of our customers want the same thing. They want a website that’s up, secure and fast. They don’t want to worry about updates. And when something needs fixing or tweaking, they want to drop us a message and get back to running their business.

So we’ve stopped asking you to choose between hosting and care. Website Care is both, wrapped into a single monthly plan.

What Website Care includes

Every plan is fully managed and includes:

• Enterprise-grade hosting with DDoS protection, bot mitigation and a global CDN, so your site loads quickly wherever your visitors are.
• Regular backups, so if the worst should happen we have reliable restore points.
• Security and SSL, with threats blocked before they reach your site.
• Software, theme and plugin updates, done for you and checked afterwards.
• Round-the-clock monitoring, so we know if your site stops responding.
• A plain-English monthly report showing exactly what we’ve done.
• Real people, reached directly through your Spectacle Dashboard.

There’s no separate hosting bill, and nothing extra to manage.

Three plans, depending on how much help you want

• Essential (£49.99 a month). Everything above, for sites that mostly look after themselves.
• Care+ (£99.99 a month). Adds 2 hours of content edits each month, visual checks after every update, speed tuning and priority support.
• Partner (£149.99 a month). Adds 4 hours of content edits and 4 hours of design each month, new pages and features, a quarterly review and same-day responses.

Pay monthly or annually. Annual plans get 2 months free, and there are no long contracts.

Whatever your site is built with

Static, Next.js and WordPress sites are all welcome. If we didn’t build your site, that’s fine too. We’ll check it over first and recommend the right plan.

Moving to us is free

Already hosted somewhere else? We’ll move your site for you on every plan. You send us your details, we copy everything across while your current site keeps running, check it all before it goes live, then switch over at a quiet time.
