Editing text and images on a page

You can change most of the words and pictures on your site yourself. If you'd rather we did it, and you're on a plan with edit time, just send us a request.

Changing text

1. Log in to your website and open Pages.
2. Hover over the page you want and choose Edit.
3. Click into the text and type, just like a document.
4. Choose Update (top right) to save. Your changes are live straight away.

Changing a photo

1. Click the image on the page.
2. Choose Replace in the toolbar above it, then upload a new photo or pick one from your Media Library.
3. Fill in the Alternative text in the panel on the right: a short description of what the photo shows, for people who can't see it.
4. Choose Update.

Photos straight off a phone or camera are often very large and slow your site down. Resize them to about 2000 pixels wide before uploading, or ask us to.

If something goes wrong

Every page keeps its earlier versions. Open Revisions in the panel on the right to go back to one. If you're stuck, send us a request: we back your site up every day.
