Logging in to edit your site
How to get into your website's editor.
Most sites we build and look after run on WordPress. You edit yours from its admin area, which is separate from your Spectacle dashboard.
Logging in
- Go to your website's address with /wp-admin/ on the end, for example yourbusiness.co.uk/wp-admin/.
- Enter the username (or email address) and password for your website login.
- You'll land on the WordPress dashboard. Your pages are under Pages, and news or blog posts under Posts.
Your website login and your Spectacle dashboard login are two different things. Your Spectacle login is for your plan, requests, reports and billing.
Forgotten your password?
On the log-in screen choose Lost your password? and enter your email address. WordPress sends you a link to set a new one.
Don't have a login?
If you've never had a login for your website, or the person who had one has left, send us a request and we'll set one up for you.
Not on WordPress?
If your site uses something else, or a page builder that looks different from the screens above, ask us and we'll show you around.
