Why your email isn't hosted by us
We host websites, not email. Here's how the two fit together.
We host websites, not email. Your email stays with whoever provides it now, like Microsoft 365, Google Workspace or your previous host.
Why
Email is a service of its own, and specialist providers do it best: better spam filtering, more storage and apps for your phone. Keeping it separate also means a problem with one never affects the other.
How your website and email share a domain
Your domain has separate settings for your website and for your email. When we point your domain at your new site, we leave the email settings exactly as they are, so your email keeps working.
If your email came with your old hosting
Some hosting companies include email. If yours did, it will stop when that hosting ends, so it's worth moving first. We're happy to help you set up Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace on your domain: send us a request.
Emails your website sends
Contact forms, order confirmations and booking emails are sent by your website, and we look after those. If they stop arriving, tell us.
