Raising a good request

How to ask us for a change, report a problem or get a quote.

1 min read · Updated 2 November 2026

Requests are how you ask us for anything: a change to your site, help with a problem, a quote, or just a question.

Sending a request

  1. Open Requests, or use the box on your Overview.
  2. Choose what it is: a content change, something that's broken, a new feature or quote, or a question.
  3. Choose the site it's about, and how soon you need it.
  4. Describe what you'd like, with the address of any page it's about.

If your site is down, choose Urgent: site is down. Urgent requests always jump the queue.

Tips for a quick answer

  • Say which page, with its address if you can.
  • For text changes, paste the new wording exactly as you'd like it.
  • One request per job makes each one easier to track.

Following it

Each request shows where it's up to: Received, In progress, Ready to check and Done. Awaiting you means we've asked you something: reply on the request and we'll carry on.
